Proving Yourself Wrong

A way to reduce the impact from some [cognitive biases](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cognitive_biases) such as [confirmation bias](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias), [the default effect](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Default_effect), [anchoring effect](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchoring_effect), etc. Is to methodically try to prove yourself wrong.

* **Make Testable Predictions**: if `x` is true, then we should observe `y`. * **Use peers as a red team**: Ask your peers to act as an adversary when reviewing a decision, or problem statement or potential solution. * **Seek evidence that you're wrong**. Note it if you're Keeping a Journal, externalize it.
