## On Mac
I use Fantastical
.
This is one of the few apps I don't mind paying a subscription for. I find it very well designed and useful.
Some of my most used features are the transit times, and color-coding of events.
I find the natural language input to be a bit hit-or-miss, but I've gotten used to it.
I also use the appointments feature for my freelancing business.
## On Linux
I begrudgingly use GNOME Calendar
. It's simple and gets the job done, but it's very barebones.
## Other Things I Tried
**Betterbird** / **Thunderbird**: I try to avoid this for calendars, as I've had a few instances where events have disappeared or duplicated and I'm not entirely sure what I did to cause this behavior.
**Elementary Calendar**: The UI of the flatpak I use doesn't render correctly.
**Merkuro** was as barebones as GNOME Calendar, but I found it more complicated.
